Full-Body Warm-Up with Coach Troy

Prepare Your Body for an Energized Workout

Coach Troy begins the session with a comprehensive warm-up designed to prepare your body for an effective workout. The routine emphasizes starting from the head and gradually working down to the feet, ensuring a full-body activation.

The session begins with neck stretches, including turning your head to the left and right, tilting the ears toward the shoulders, and performing gentle neck rolls. Coach Troy emphasizes the importance of warming up quickly while avoiding overextension.

Next, the focus moves to shoulder rolls. First rolling backward, then forward, these exercises target the shoulders and upper back, ensuring proper engagement and reducing tension. Breathing techniques, such as inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth, are integrated to promote relaxation and focus.

The warm-up progresses to arm swings, incorporating large circular motions both forward and backward. Coach Troy encourages participants to keep their posture upright, chest out, and eyes forward for maximum effectiveness.

The lower body is then activated with knee raises and stepping patterns, including two steps forward and two steps back. These exercises not only engage the legs but also help participants find their rhythm and balance.

Sumo squats are introduced as the next step, targeting the lower body with deep, controlled movements. Coach Troy reminds participants to keep their knees behind their toes and maintain proper form throughout.

The session concludes with a dynamic punching and torso-twisting sequence. These movements simulate boxing punches and hooks, engaging the upper body while keeping the feet active.

Coach Troy wraps up the warm-up by encouraging participants to stay consistent and transition into their main workout routine.
