Caregiver Workout with Coach Troy

A 20-30 minute hybrid workout tailored for caregivers, combining boxing techniques and traditional exercises.

Instructor: Coach Troy

Objective: A hybrid workout designed to help caregivers stay active, strong, and energized.

Workout Breakdown:

  • Warm-Up: Gentle movements to prepare the body, including neck rolls, shoulder circles, arm swings, and toe touches to improve mobility and loosen muscles.
  • Boxing Combinations:
    • First combination: 1-2-3-2 (jab, cross, hook, cross).
    • Other combinations incorporate uppercuts, hooks, and advanced patterns like 6-3-2 and 5-6-3-2.
    • Emphasis on maintaining form, balance, and breathing throughout.
  • Traditional Exercises:
    • Jogging in place to elevate heart rate.
    • High marches to improve coordination and leg strength.
    • Ice skaters for balance and lateral movement.
    • Squats combined with heel raises to strengthen legs and improve posture.
  • Cool-Down:
    • Full-body stretches targeting the back, shoulders, and legs.
